Warring parties must end violence and return to peace talks

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has said that a ceasefire that lasts must be implemented in the Gaza conflict.

Speaking at a rally in London, Starmer said that the violence had to end and that both sides must return to peace talks.

"We cannot continue to see the loss of innocent lives," he said. "A ceasefire that lasts must be implemented immediately." Starmer also called for an end to the blockade of Gaza, which he said was causing unnecessary suffering.
